Wallace Hut is a historic hut located in the Alpine National Park, Victoria, Australia. It was built in 1889 by a local farmer’s The Wallace Brothers and is one of the oldest surviving huts in the area.
The hut was used by cattlemen and other high country travelers as a shelter during their travels, and it remained in use until the mid-20th century.
Captured this image just after sunrise in Spring, with the early morning rays of light penetrating the twisted snow gums on the Bogong High Plains.
