Kata Tjuṯa, also known as the Olgas, is a breathtaking natural wonder located in the heart of Australia’s Red Centre. This stunning geological formation is made up of a series of massive domed rocks, each one boasting a unique shape and size, and painted in stunning hues of red and orange.

As you explore Kata Tjuṯa, you’ll be struck by the incredible beauty and majesty of this ancient landscape. Whether you’re hiking through the valleys between the domes, or climbing to the top of one of the tallest peaks, you’ll be treated to some of the most stunning views in the world.

But Kata Tjuṯa is more than just a stunning natural landmark. For thousands of years, it has been an important cultural site for the local Anangu people, who believe that the rocks are sacred and imbued with spiritual power. As you explore the area, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the Anangu’s rich history and culture and gain a deeper appreciation for the land and its significance.

One of the most famous shots of all time in the Kata Tjuta National Park is to capture the Domes of Mt Olga highlighted by the sun’s everlasting light, just at sunset.

The rays of light flashing across the horizon line only lasted a few minutes before all fading away.
