With the hot midday sun, I was able to capture these wind ripples on the desert sand that made their way to form this pattern.
Captured on 6 x 17 Fuji Velvia Wind-swept sand dunes are a type of sand dune that is formed by wind-blowing sand grains over the crest of a dune, causing the sand to cascade down the leeward slope of the dune. This process, known as saltation, can create a variety of interesting shapes and patterns in the sand.
